IslandDAO started as an experiment in 2023: what if the best builders in the Solana ecosystem worked together, in person, from some of the most beautiful places on earth?
Three years later, we've run events in Crete, Thailand, and Mykonos — bringing together over 150 builders from 30+ countries. We've hosted hackathons with $200K+ in prizes, shipped products that are live in production, and built friendships that have led to companies.
The DAO part is real. Members vote on governance proposals through Realms. The treasury is transparent. Decisions are made on-chain. But what makes IslandDAO work isn't the token mechanics — it's the people who show up.
