Delete your account

1. Email hello@islanddao.org with the subject “Delete my IslandDAO account”.
2. Include the Solana wallet address you sign in with. Send the email from the address on your profile if you added one.
3. We may ask you to sign a short message with that wallet to confirm the account is yours.
4. We delete your account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

You do not need the app installed to make a request. To remove only some data, you can delete your own photos and comments, or edit your profile, in the app at any time.

• Your account and profile: name, display name, email, bio, avatar, role, country and social handles.
• Photos you uploaded, with their comments, likes and tags, and comments you wrote on other photos.
• Event registrations and applications, including travel, dietary and emergency contact details.
• Registered devices and push notification tokens.

• Blockchain records. Your wallet address, NFTs, tickets, check-ins and governance votes are recorded on the public Solana blockchain. We cannot change or delete them, though we remove our own copies once they are not tied to an account.
• Records we must keep by law. Signed event agreements and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires, then deleted.
• Reports. Reports you made about content or conduct may be kept, without your profile details, to keep the community safe.
• Crash logs and backups. Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days, and database backups roll off within 30 days.
